Spinach pasta

Spinach pasta, one of the most loved recipes. I shared it on my instagram page before jotting it down here and it was such a hit with kids. My son is a crazy pasta lover so I keep trying different pastas for him especially with veggies he doesn’t prefer having like beetroot, spinach, tomatoes etc.

Spinach pasta is super easy to make and tastes delicious. I don’t prefer adding milk or cream to this, it still tastes yummy. But you can always choose to add little milk or cream or cheese, whatever you prefer. You can do all the preparations way before time and whip it up just before serving as the spinach sauce is thick and tastes better when served warm.


1 cup boiled pasta of your choice
1/2 cup or more blanched spinach
3 garlic cloves
1/2 cup boiled sweet corn (optional)
Salt to taste
Pepper powder (optional)


Take blanched spinach in a mixer grinder and make a purée. In a pan, add butter followed grated garlic. Sauté for a few seconds and add spinach. Cook for 2 minutes, then add sweet corn, salt and pepper powder. Cook for a few minutes. Add pasta, toss well, cover and cook again for a few minutes. Done.
