Vanilla mug cake (eggless)

Made this mug cake on our anniversary a few days back and yesterday as well to celebrate a small personal milestone of #10k followers 😻.. Used wholewheat flour, added vanilla essense along with other ingredients.. and it tasted yum.. Not like a proper vanilla cake but served the purpose really well. The texture is amazingly soft. I feel no occasion is complete without a #cake but now we can’t  really eat more cakes, so this #mugcake worked well for us. It was shared by 3 of us so no guilt 😁 I added some sprinkles after it was ready, you can add some nuts or chocochips to the batter and bake.

You need:

1/4 cup wholewheat flour/atta
1/2 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp or less powdered sugar (depends on your preference, I add 2tbsp)
2 tbsp melted butter or oil
a pinch of salt
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
4 tbsp of milk

Method:

Mix powdered sugar, oil, milk together and mix well. Once you feel sugar has melted, add atta, baking powder, salt, vanilla and make a lump free batter. Microwave on high for 2 minutes. Done.

Tip for a perfect moist mug cake:

When the batter is ready, add 1/2 tsp of water on the top of it and then bake. This will keep the cake moist.
